Crayton Commercial was established in February 2008 in New Bern, North Carolina by Walt Crayton.  Prior to starting Crayton Commercial, Walt worked in the fast paced Charlotte, North Carolina real estate and development market for Hermitage Properties / SHOE SHOW and NORCOM Properties. 

Crayton Commercial develops and re-develops high quality shopping center projects throughout the Southeastern United States.  Crayton Commercial is extremely proud to have built a rock solid reputation among retailers, contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, brokers, government entities and other developers.  Walt Crayton has said many times that the pride of developing a first class, good looking, successful project far outweighs any monetary gain derived from it!  Recent projects by Crayton Commercial include Sound of Freedom Shoppes located in Havelock, NC, Shoppes at Reidsville Ridge located in Reidsville, NC and Coastal Carolina Commons located in Wallace, NC.  Projects slated for 2011 include three major re-developments - Brightleaf Shopping Center located in Farmville, NC, Dillon Plaza located in Dillon, SC and River Landing Shopping Center located in Fayetteville, NC.
